Wilderness First Aid Basic
- Description/Purpose: This course is designed for people involved in activities that take them beyond the scope of traditional urban emergency medical services, e.g., bikers, backpackers, scouting leaders and older scouts, kayakers, canoers, farm workers, forest rangers, utility workers, law enforcement, and rescue crews. This course helps provide the knowledge and skills necessary to deal with emergencies until more advanced care can be provided. Course topics include:
